| When and what? Our club meets every Thursday evening from 5.30pm until around 10.00pm. We play all types of card and board games but favour the European or German games. The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. There are usually a dozen people playing and 3 or 4 games on the go at any time. Check out our Games Played link for some examples. WARNING!! Doors to the public close at 7.00pm. If you intend getting here later than that you will need to have made prior contact with another member to let you in. Past experience has shown that Security will not always oblige. |
Membership? There is no cost to come along to Gamers@Dockers. However if you are a regular player and wish to become a permanent member we can issue you with a membership card for just $2. Membership entitles you to a 10% discount on most items at selected game stores. So if you're in Melbourne and love playing boardgames then come along and bring a friend.

Where do we play? We congregate at the NAB building, 800 Bourke Street, Docklands, Melbourne near the corner of Harbour Esplanade. Entry is via the two large revolving doors on Bourke Street then up the elevator to Level 2 or up the stairs to Level 1 then up one more flight to where we play. The room is quite visible and you do not enter the NAB secure areas. Members of the public are more than welcome and we encourage people to bring friends along. The City Circle tram stops right outside the building so even getting here is free! What more could you ask for? Just a counter... |
